Day Shelter and Meals Program
Serves more than 300 men, women, and children two meals a day, six days a week. Clients receive more than a hot meal. They may shower, have access to health care, social work and psychological services on a drop-in basis. Nursing services are available. There is a food pantry. Visitors have access to clean, used clothing for men, women, and children, and a limited amount of furniture and household items. While some people come only once, others come every day, seeking a sense of community previously lacking in their lives. Some will then move on to our other, more structured services.
Family Services
Provides supportive housing and intensive case management for 10 families at scattered sites; social, psychological, medical and other services for families with children that are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Serves over 300 individuals per year.
